Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Korean Association of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgeons (KACMFS), it is my great pleasure to welcome you to PRS KOREA 2026.
This year’s congress is especially meaningful because it marks the 60th anniversary of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (KSPRS). Over the past six decades, Korean plastic surgery has made remarkable progress through innovation, dedication, and academic excellence, establishing itself as a global leader in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. The theme of this year’s meeting, “A 60-Year Legacy, Shaping the Future,” honors past achievements while expressing our shared commitment to advancing the future of the specialty.
As an essential part of this legacy, cranio-maxillofacial surgery has helped improve the lives of patients with congenital anomalies, facial trauma, skeletal deformities, and complex reconstructive needs. Through continued scientific progress and international collaboration, our field has expanded what can be achieved for these patients.
Emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, virtual surgical planning, three-dimensional printing, and regenerative medicine, are transforming surgical practice and creating new possibilities for personalized patient care. PRS KOREA 2026 will provide an outstanding opportunity for surgeons, researchers, and trainees from around the world to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and help shape the future of the specialty.
As we honor the remarkable 60-year history of KSPRS, I sincerely congratulate everyone who has contributed to its success. I look forward to welcoming you to Seoul and hope this meeting fosters meaningful collaboration, innovation, and friendship among colleagues worldwide.

Greetings from the SRF
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
We are delighted to invite you to PRS Korea 2026 and SRF 2026.
This year marks a significant milestone as we commemorate 60 years since plastic surgery was established in Korea, 22 years since the Korean Academic Association of Rhinoplasty Surgeons (KAARS) was founded, and approximately 14 years since the Seoul Rhinoplasty Forum (SRF) began.
Over the years, SRF has developed into a prominent international forum for plastic surgeons from Korea, the Asia-Pacific region, and other parts of the world. It has enabled participants to learn from experienced rhinoplasty surgeons and discuss topics ranging from the fundamental principles of Asian rhinoplasty to advanced procedures, including complex revision surgery. The forum has also supported the objective evaluation of surgical materials and equipment, the introduction of new techniques, and the development of rigorous academic guidelines. These collective efforts have established SRF as a leading rhinoplasty forum in the Asia-Pacific region.
This year, SRF 2026 will be held in conjunction with PRS Korea 2026. The program will include in-depth lectures on core rhinoplasty techniques, such as donor harvesting, material selection, profile rhinoplasty, and tip plasty. In addition, internationally recognized experts will share their clinical experience with minimally invasive procedures and revision rhinoplasty.
Active participation and substantive discussion advance the field and give this forum its value. We welcome the engagement and support of everyone with an interest in rhinoplasty.
Thank you very much.

Young-Seok Kim, M.D., Ph.D.
President of the Korean Academic Association of Rhinoplasty Surgeons (KAARS)
Dear Esteemed Members of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons,
My name is Jong Seo Kim, and I am the President of the Botulinum Toxin-Filler-Thread Academic Association for the Korean Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon.
In the rapidly evolving field of aesthetic plastic surgery, nonsurgical facial rejuvenation procedures, including botulinum toxin injections, fillers, and thread lifting, have become an important part of plastic surgery practice. As these procedures continue to advance, precise anatomical understanding and an objective, evidence-based approach have become increasingly important.
The Botulinum Toxin-Filler-Thread Academic Association for the Korean Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon is committed not only to sharing clinical experience but also to developing safe and effective procedural guidelines based on ultrasonography, 3D image analysis, anatomical research, and clinical data. Through the scientific validation of new materials, devices, and procedural techniques, we also seek to build an academic foundation that enables plastic surgeons to provide higher-quality care.
PRS KOREA 2026 will serve as a valuable forum for plastic surgeons from Korea and abroad to share current knowledge and clinical experience and to discuss the future of the field. In particular, our session will present practical content that can be applied directly in clinical practice, together with recent research findings, to provide a meaningful and useful program for our members.
The Botulinum Toxin-Filler-Thread Academic Association for the Korean Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon will continue to contribute to the advancement of plastic and reconstructive surgery in Korea through ongoing research and academic activities.
We look forward to meeting you at PRS KOREA 2026 and sharing a meaningful opportunity for academic exchange.
Thank you.

Greetings.
I am Eun-Soo Park, Professor at Soonchunhyang University and President of the Korean Academic Association of Laser Plastic Surgery (KALPS).
KALPS focuses on research into medical and aesthetic procedures performed on the human body using lasers and energy-based devices (EBDs). Experts and physicians from various fields come together to conduct research, provide education, and share information in both basic and clinical areas. In particular, we take the lead in sharing the latest insights on lasers and EBDs with plastic surgeons in Korea by hosting annual hands-on workshops.
This year, KALPS will host an international symposium featuring renowned speakers from Korea and abroad. The symposium sessions will cover topics such as vascular lasers and micro-coring technology. We also plan to discuss the newly expanded indications and latest applications of CO2 lasers, which have long been widely used by plastic surgeons. We look forward to the active participation of many plastic surgeons as speakers and research contributors.
In addition, we plan to organize hands-on workshop sessions in which participants can not only learn the theory but also use and experience laser and EBD equipment firsthand. Through these sessions, we aim to introduce the latest equipment from the world’s leading laser companies and encourage more plastic surgeons to incorporate laser technology into their practice. In doing so, we hope to highlight the unique advantages of laser and EBD treatments, including benefits that cannot be achieved through surgery alone, and to help improve treatment outcomes.
This year’s symposium will provide an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the current direction and latest advances in the global laser and EBD industry in 2026. We warmly welcome all attendees and are committed to making this a meaningful and impactful symposium.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Ten years have passed since we gathered in Seoul for the inaugural Asian Forum for Fat & Stem Cells (AFFS) in 2017. What began as a small academic initiative inspired by a shared interest in adipose tissue and stem cells has developed into one of Asia’s leading forums for regenerative plastic surgery, bringing together clinicians, scientists, and innovators from around the world.
When AFFS was founded, adipose tissue was increasingly viewed not merely as a means of restoring volume but as a dynamic regenerative organ containing diverse populations of stem and stromal cells. Many questions remained unanswered at the time, but substantial advances have since been made. Scientific discoveries have expanded our understanding of adipose-derived stem cells, extracellular vesicles, the stromal vascular fraction, tissue vascularization, immunomodulation, and regenerative signaling pathways. Clinical applications have progressed beyond structural fat grafting to include regenerative approaches to facial rejuvenation, scar management, wound healing, breast reconstruction, and tissue engineering.
The coming decade will extend beyond replacing lost volume and repairing damaged tissue to restoring biological function, improving tissue quality, and promoting healthy aging and longevity. The integration of stem cell biology, biomaterials, artificial intelligence, genomics, and precision medicine is reshaping the future of regenerative surgery.
On behalf of the organizing committee, I sincerely thank the faculty members, researchers, industry partners, and participants who have contributed to AFFS over the past ten years.
As we gather for the 7th AFFS Meeting, let us celebrate our achievements, present our latest findings, and help shape regenerative plastic surgery for the next generation.
Thank you for contributing to the continued development of AFFS.
With warm regards,

Park Jae Woo, M.D., Ph.D.
President of the Asian Forum for Fat & Stem Cells (AFFS)

Welcome to the Korean academic association of Perforator flap(KAPF) at PRS Korea 2026.
Our goal has always been simple: to explore every aspect of perforator flap surgery—not only how we perform these procedures, but also why they work.
Last year, we introduced the concept of “Perforator Thinking” by challenging questions that are often taken for granted: What Exactly Is a Perforator?, How Can We Use a Para-Flap Condition?, and Is It a Guarantee for Flap Survival? Rather than accepting established concepts, we encouraged participants to rethink the fundamental principles of perforator flap surgery.
This year, we take the next step with the theme, “Beyond Perforator.” We will explore the future of flap physiology, reconstruction in challenging conditions such as radiation, diabetes, and aging, and concepts that extend beyond traditional vascular territories. “Beyond Perforator” is not about moving beyond perforator flaps—it is about moving beyond the way we think about them.
We hope this program will not only broaden your understanding of perforator flaps, but also inspire a new way of thinking about reconstructive surgery.
We look forward to welcoming you to PRS Korea 2026.

Jong-Won Hong, M.D., Ph.D.
President of Korean Academic Association of Perforator flap(KAPF)
