On behalf of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (KSPRS), I am honored to welcome you to PRS KOREA 2026.

This year’s congress holds special significance as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of KSPRS. For six decades, our Society has advanced plastic and reconstructive surgery through scientific excellence, innovation, education, and international collaboration. This milestone allows us not only to reflect on our history, but also to look ahead and reaffirm our responsibility to guide the continued development of our specialty.

Since its founding in 1966, KSPRS has grown into one of Asia’s leading academic societies and has contributed substantially to the advancement of reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. This progress has been made possible by the dedication of our members and by the enduring partnerships we have built with colleagues and sister societies around the world.

As medicine continues to evolve through technological innovation, regenerative science, artificial intelligence, and precision surgery, collaboration across borders has become increasingly important.
